2008 was a challenging year for the GSCU squad. By April, only 3 riders from the previous season remained. We were essentially building the team from the ground up and had weeks before the season was to truly get underway.

Our results will show that despite our unfamiliarity with each other, and multiple wrecks and illnesses, we were able to work together and accomplish a few things.

Rather than dwell on the missed opportunities of 2008, we are focusing on 2009. We have added a couple of strong, team-oriented riders and we are looking to advance at least one of our team mates to Category 2. Several of our riders have personal goals for the season, but they all revolve around the squad and working together.

Needless to say, we are all looking to get back in the saddle and take our rightful places on the podium.

We are a bike racing team in Portland, Oregon.  We have fun racing our bikes with the Oregon Bicycle Racing Association: the most vibrant racing scene on the coast, and one that we are honored to be a part of.
